Our Mission

At Clipive, our mission is simple: to make sharing software workflows as effortless, beautiful, and expressive as possible. We believe that developers shouldn't have to waste hours editing videos, configuring keyframe zooms, or wrestling with complex desktop software just to show off a new feature, document a bug, or teach a programming concept.

The Problem We're Solving

Standard screen recording software is either too basic (leaving you with giant, static widescreen files with tiny code fonts) or too complicated (requiring full-fledged timeline video editors like Premiere or Camtasia).

We set out to build a tool that understands what is happening on the screen. By tracking cursor paths, keystrokes, and active containers, Clipive automates the camera dynamics—panning, zooming, wrapping frames, and rendering key HUD indicators in real-time, right inside your web browser.

Local-First Privacy

Your video data belongs to you. Clipive processes and stores everything locally inside your browser's IndexedDB. We never upload files unless you explicitly request a share link.

We design features around developer workflows, including automatic code window wrappers, keyboard shortcut visualizers, and raw asset exports.

No heavy native installer or background services. Clipive runs instantly as a browser extension, saving memory and keeping your computer running fast while recording.
